Baby Steps review

Product Description (from Amazon.com)

Mc Loughlin's unique and witty way of spinning a web of romance, sprinkling in humor and action will have you reading late at night, unable to put this one down.

Lynda sat there as Michael turned to go and put her fingers to her lips, where they tingled from his kiss. He turned back to her and said, May I call you again?

She nodded, lowering her hand from her mouth. He couldn t resist. He kissed her again, swiftly and deliberately. Good, he said a second later, his eyes dancing.

Lynda laughed, Go! He laughed too and went back to work with a spring in his step that he barely recognized as his own.

Meet Lynda Blake...a widowed single mom to 17-year-old Sean whose time has come for a change of lifestyle. After mourning the loss of her husband, one day she finds herself helping her son's classmate through a heated crowd of protestors at a women's clinic, sparking a chain of events that will forever change her life. She meets sexy Dr. Michael Cameron, embarks on a romance --and possibly a future with the handsome doc-- until danger threatens the sanctity of her home and her resolve. She has to choose between her son's safety and her own desire. Will there ever be room for Lynda in her own life?

Most women are pro-choice and have faith of some kind. Baby Steps tells the story of one such woman forced to prove the strength of her convictions. At turns witty and profound, Baby Steps will make you laugh, blush and will leave you with a smile.

MY REVIEW

I absolutely loved this very well written novel! I think Mc Loughlin is an amazing CANADIAN author! I read the entire book in one afternoon. The storyline caught my interest right from the start and I really enjoyed "getting to know" the characters. I also think the book offers a good perspective on some rather controversial issues. I would definitely recommend this great book!

I also enjoyed Baby Steps. It had turns and twists in the story that kept me turning the pages. She tackled a difficult subject with courage and class.
