Green Books Campaign: Love Your World

This review is part of the Green Books campaign.Today 200 bloggers take a stand to support books printed in an eco-friendly manner by simultaneously publishing reviews of 200 books printed on recycled or FSC-certified paper. By turning a spotlight on books printed using eco- friendly paper, we hope to raise the awareness of book buyers and encourage everyone to take the environment into consideration when purchasing books.

The campaign is organized for the second time by Eco-Libris, a green company working to make reading more sustainable. We invite you to join the discussion on "green" books and support books printed in an eco-friendly manner! A full list of participating blogs and links to their reviews is available on Eco-Libris website.

“Using bright photographs, this cheery book teaches ways to be green as kids demonstrate planting seeds, recycling, reusing and reducing.”                                     --Publishers Weekly

“[Love Your World] is a vivid, cheerful introduction to going green.”                                                 --School Library Journal

Love Your World shows the very youngest readers what they can do to help the environment. From recycling to water conservation to making a compost pile in the backyard, this richly illustrated guide makes it easy for toddlers to go green!

Love Your World is a great little book. It is filled with bright and colourful pictures. On every page real kids are pictured doing something "green" which makes the message very clear to young readers. It is easy to read and my daughter loves it. Love Your World is printed on FSC-certified paper which makes it even cooler.

At the end of the book there is an "I Promise to" section where kids can see straight-forward ways to love our world. The book also includes a "Super Green Star Award" certificate that you can fill out with your child's information. Love Your World is an all-around adorable book.

Be sure to check out the other books in the Green Books Campaign!

Sounds like a cool book. I reviewed a kid's book last year for the campaign so this year I did adult nonfiction.
