My Review

Ready Set Grow is an absolutely fabulous book. I love all of the fun projects for kids to do. The book explains things clearly in a super kid-friendly way. The directions are very easy to follow. The pictures are bright and colourful and very eye-catching. 


Ready Set Grow explains gardening perfectly for kids- step by step with lots of visual aids! There are projects for everyone- no matter how small or large of a gardening space you have to work with. There is everything from small pots and window boxes to fairy rings and floral teepee's. 

I LOVE that every project has a circle in the top left hand corner of the page telling you exactly how long you can expect the project to take- from "12 weeks" for growing poppies to "1 hour" for making dazzling decorations. I also really like the Top 10 lists like the "Top 10 Quick-to-Grow plants" list.
