Alec is my extra-ordinary teen. This is his senior year and he is involved in Debate, Drama, Competitive Drama, and Stagecraft. He will be taking 4 honors courses this year and one AP class. He just bought his own car, which he paid for. A non-profit organization has contacted him about full 4-year scholarships to some of the top schools in the US like University of Chicago, Notre Dame, MIT, and more. Can you tell I'm a bit proud? I've always said that I'm blessed that God let me be his mom.

I work in a bilingual middle school/high school. I think all these teens are remarkable and extraordinary, coming to this country, adapting, learning growing and forging ahead. Kudos to them all!

My nephew Eric is an extraordinary teenager. He is 14 years old and has 4 younger siblings. He works hard in school, gets fantastic grades. He is starting High School this year. And we all know how challenging High School can be. He helps his Mom out around the house without being asked to do so. He will do anything to help anyone, no matter what. He thinks about other people first, always putting others needs before his own. He is truly an amazing teenager. I am so proud to be called his Aunt.

My oldest will be a teen in a little more than 1 year..
My extraordinary teen is my daughter. She' just starting college on a full tuition scholarship. She did outstanding academically in school, ran cross country all four years of HS and was in the highest level of orchestra as first chair cello. She also participated in many service clubs and fundraising opportunities for the needy. The kind of child every parent would be proud of. I'd love to have this sent to her in college as a nice surprise. Thanks so much!
