My Review
I LOVED this book. I love Nancy Moser's writing style.
I was hooked in the first chapter with this line:
Martha: " I am only twenty-six! How can I be asked to bear such grief?"
Her mother: "You are not asked."
I was completely drawn in to the main character's life story. Nancy writes an amazing picture of a woman and her honest struggles. I really don't know anything about George and Nancy Washington so this served as a little history lesson for me too! I won't give away any details but I would definitely recommend this book.
