MY REVIEW

I enjoyed Chasing The Sun. It was a quick and easy read for me. I found the storyline held my attention and the characters entertaining. The plot was a bit on the predictable side and it was similar to other historical Christian fiction I have read but it was still a good read.

MY REVIEW

This story is a poignant example of just how damaging secrets can be! I found the storyline incredibly touching and very sad. There were certainly healing elements to it and a good conclusion but my heart ached at the thought of children in those circumstances. Even though this is a work of fiction the story certainly could have happened in real life and likely does happen on a regular basis.

I really liked the characters. I thought they were very realistic and I think the author has left room for this novel to become a series.

This is not a particularly "light" read but it is definitely a good one. I am happy to recommend it.
