This book is the flower arranger's handbook for sure. It walks you through preparing the vase or other container, placing the appropriate foliage, picking the flowers according to occasion, season, colour theme, etc., and prolonging the life of the flowers. There is an extensive section on which flowers grow in each season of the year. There is also a guide to preparing flowers for weddings based on the season in which the wedding takes place, and detailed instructions for putting together everything from boutonniers to pew ends to table centerpieces. Beautifully illustrated with lovely photographs, this book will take the stress out of choosing flowers and arrangements for any occasion. A must have for the flower gardener, for wedding planners, or for anyone who loves arranging flowers.
